EDA board members will gather to discuss, plan and advance the work of NDP organizing in Victoria. This will be the final EDA Board Meeting to take place before our Annual General Meeting!
Annual General Meeting
January 18, 2026 from 2:00-4:00pm – Location Pending
Our Annual General Meeting will take place towards the end of January, 2026. This meeting will be open to all members of the Victoria NDP Electoral District Association. We will go over our activities from the last year, our plans for the year to come, and current financial status.
Members who wish the join the EDA Board can nominate themselves for a position at this meeting – learn more by visiting our Upcoming AGM page!
Please be advised that joining the board is a one-year commitment that requires attending a monthly meeting, and assisting with a variety of tasks in between. If you are not ready to serve as a Board Member, you can always register as a Standing Volunteer to help out on your own schedule!

Leadership Race Event
The Victoria NDP EDA Board is making inquiries to host leadership race events in the area in the new year. More to come!
Lawn Bowling
Lawn bowling – is there anything more dignified? The Board is considering hosting lawn bowling in the spring to act as a social event for members, and a first meeting opportunity for interested federal candidates. More to come!
NDP Convention 2026
From March 27-29, 2026 in the noble city of Winnipeg, indeed, the centre of this wide nation of Canada, the federal NDP will host its next convention. Delegates and staffers will descend to battle out resolutions, party in the backrooms, and will, in culminating their efforts, elect the new leader of the New Democratic Party.
